Work Experience Summary: I have worked in research laboratories at both Cambridge University & Imperial College London between 1998 - 2001. Following which, I worked part time as a research assistant whilst completing a PhD in Neuroscience at Imperial College. Whilst writing up my PhD, I began working as a clinical trials coordinator for a Multiple Sclerosis charity based at imperial College. This position involved me managing 2 members of staff whilst reporting to 3 consultant neurologists. Moreover, I liaised with patients and members of the pharmaceutical industry on a daily basis. These positions have provided me with a sound knowledge of MS Office, excellent communication skills (both written & verbal), excellent technical skills, the ability to liaise with people from different sectors and the ability to time manage my workload efficiently & effectively.
Education Summary: I have a PhD in Neuroscience from Imperial College London (2006) and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from Bradford University (1997).
I have undertaken Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and am competent at submitting ethics/MHRA submissions in relation to clinical trials.
