She graduated from Surrey Institute of Art and Design with BA (hons) Film & Video Production in 2002, specialising in Cinematography. After graduating in 2002 Anna started working as a Clapper Loader and then in 2004 became a Focus Puller. In 2006 Anna was selected by Women in Film and Television to be mentored by Henry Braham BSC during the production of The Golden Compass. The placement lasted for a year in which time Henry trained her in the Cinematographer’s role during pre-production, production and post-production of the feature film as well as helping her experiment with her own Cinematography. Anna gained her first credit as Director of Photography on the feature length documentary \"Welcome Aboard Toxic Airlines\" in 2007. The film premiered at The International Film Festival of the Environment in Paris in 2007 and sparked the call for a public enquiry into the areo-toxic issue in the UK. In 2008 Anna worked as the Camera Operator on \"31North 62East\" with Sue Gibson BSC who is also the President of the British Society of Cinematographers. At the end of 2008 Anna worked as the Director of Photography on feature film \"Ambleton Delight\" which has since won three film festival awards. As well as working on feature films Anna has a strong background in developing visual ideas and shooting for Commercials and Promos.
