I have sound numerical skills and astute organizational and problem solving abilities. I am friendly and outgoing; an enthusiastic team player as well as a capable of working unsupervised utilising initiative.
Through my work experiences I have developed my communication skills which enable me to provide exceptional customer service when dealing with customers. I have a solid understanding of stock control and management analysis which have allowed me to spot trends in order to make effective decisions.
• Computer literate
Fully computer literate in all core Microsoft applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook). Have specifically used Excel for logging information and creating formulated spreadsheets, Word for detailed lab reports and PowerPoint for creating presentations as a visual aid. During my foundation year I also learnt to use Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to create digital designs and models.
• Leadership and Teamwork
Leadership qualities acquired during instances at Tesco, where I was made to take over management roles on days where there was an unexpected shortage of staff; managing petrol pumps and taking initiative to deal with unattended customers, especially during the busiest hours of the store. I thrive in team environments as I enjoy working with others but am also able to take the initiative to complete any work assigned to me individually. I have demonstrated these qualities in group projects that I have taken part in during my foundation year and whilst working within a team in my various work experiences.
