Conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews on a regular basis. Sourcing images to accompany articles. Writing on a freelance basis for London Press Service editor Dick Meredith, who set up a company called Wordsmiths in 2005 to deliver a news service funded by UK Trade & Investment. The website is currently being redeveloped, but monthly features are sent to embassies around the world for publication in their trade magazines. I have contributed recent features on Islamic finance in the UK, urban housing design, eco-friendly toys and the English National Ballet.

Working two days a week as press and PR officer. Duties involve writing newspaper and magazine articles about the company's products aimed mainly at security, local government and police sectors. Also responsible for keeping the company's website updated with new press releases and liaising with Police Press Officers to ensure media coverage of new security schemes. A selection of the magazines I have written for include Security International, City Security, Risk UK, Education Executive, Facilities Management, Independent Schools, Government Business and Police Product Review.
