Description: Initially developing an interface for a new XML based data transferal system between Credit Reference Agency and Bank. The majority of the work involved authoring XSLT to display various views of a complex XML data source in HTML.
I returned to work in a similar role in 2004 – extracting meaningful data from a complex XML data source: using XSLT to create text output. I was also involved in some .NET (VB, ASP) development with SQL Server stored procedures returning XML transformed via XSLT into HTML management reports.
For a short period in 2005 I spent some time progressing and enhancing the systems I had previously worked on.
My last assignment was to develop a suite of XSL Templates to extract information from an XML data source.

Description: Having developed a keen interest in this new XML-based technology I was able to develop an interactive, web-based, diagram creation facility utilizing SVG, ECMAScript, XSLT and ASP. The resulting application enabled users to create visual workflow diagrams and post them back to the server, an XSLT would then translate the data into an XML document describing the workflow structure.

Andy certainly knows his stuff and has delivered a high class program for me giving everything that I require, he takes his time to understand the requirements and is quick to respond should you have any queries, I certainly would have no hesitation in recommending Andy to anyone and will certainly be using his services again in the near future.
I am not sure where to start with Andy, there are just so many GREAT things to say! Here are just some of the highlights as there are so many. These are also in no particular order:
1) We was on a tight budget and Andy was able to agreeable to being flexible – this was essential for us to get our project started and without this we would have been stuck
2) We had made a specification, but having not done one before, what we supplied Andy was far from ideal – Andy was able to work from this and deliver a fantastic product that met all our needs to a high standard
3) Andy has an attitude to his work that is by far and away the best, he is great at listening he takes pride in his work and gives clear comments/feedback/questions as the project develops making this easy and hassle/stress free
I will certainly use any again, and if my project develops beyond the work done so far – he will be getting the work if he accepts.

I have to say, Andy is a star. He absorbs everything and then just makes it happen. Another solid piece of work completed exactly as proposed. With more phases to come, we have no hesitation of asking Andy to work with us again.
It took us a while to find our feet, mostly because of my inexperience and lack of technical knowledge but Andy persevered and helped us to better understand the nature of the problem. In so doing he came up with an elegant and functional solution which have met our needs. Will definitely use again. Highly Recommended.
