I mostly focus on character modeling, however, I am highly skilled in organic and non-organic modeling, texturing, and various 2D art. Born in 1986, my childhood was normal. My mother, brother, and sister raised me; I grew up on Disney and played the “forbidden” (my mother’s thoughts) video games at my brother's, and loved to draw. At the age of nine, I began to dance competitively, for nine and a half years. It was around high school that my mother noticed my passion for drawing, but did not know what to do. Therefore, my high school art teacher told me about CCAC’s 24 hours live drawing marathon. I have been to two 24 hours marathon at CCAC and was one of two freshmen to participate in a summer program they had for college credit. Because of that, CCAC has accepted me to go to school there without applying.
In senior year of high school, I stopped dancing so I could focus on drawing more, which leaded me to be the first student chosen for AP Art that year. The search for a college was dragging on. Do to my average grades created by my ADD and dyslexia (which is now under control) going to a four year college was a little challenging. My mother brought me to Ex’pression College for the Digital Arts. After about five minutes of being at the open house, I fell in love with the school and decided that going into the digital art was for me. I attendant Ex’pression in September of 2005 and I graduated in July of 2008, with a B.A. in Animation and Visual Effects.
Since my graduation I worked on a Canadian independent film called “Sisu.” The film was on the 2010 Canadian Film Festival. I have worked on a few projects for some of my friends since the “Sisu” project, which pretty much brings me to the present.
