I worked in tv drama series as a script editor for fifteen years most of which was spent at the BBC working on programmes such as Dalziel and Pascoe, In Deep and Waking The Dead.
On leaving London I continued to script edit as a free lancer as well as writing a Diary for a local glossy publication.
I then moved into online journalism, where I was responsible for covering local news, events and writing features.
TV production and publication deadlines have carved a career whereby I am driven by deadlines and held to gunpoint by accuracy. My love of the written word has accompanied me from university essays, through to the narrative structure of a script to the blogging universe of the internet.
I have recently been commissioned as a copywriter, blending three accountacy websites into one, proving (to myself) that I can apply my writing skills to a wide range of possibilities.
Never more happy than when sitting at my computer, I'm keen, reliable and utterly professional.
