Tamara seems at first to be a lovely person to speak with, and I had very positive vibes during our initial call. However, I have years of experience dealing with telesales — whether that be current and past employees, companies and freelancers like Tamara.
What I can tell you is Tamara is most definitely not making the calls on the data you supply. Tamara instead is spending her time inputting false notes that seem like she is making the calls with very positive outcomes. I provided her with data where several of which were test data to ensure calls are made. When she sent me the progress, she had written in the notes of the test data that these people were interested in our services and also sent out mass emails to them which essentially made out as if she had spoken with them on the phone - a lot of these bounced back and some wrote back to say they were not interested and of course never received a call.
Tamara was going to provide me with the call recording to prove the data was correct, though she keeps coming up with excuses and it has been days since she has responded to my request to send the recordings across - I doubt I will ever get them.
Tamara failed to deliver the number of hours contracted and when challenged at the end of two weeks work blamed technical issues. Out of 21 hours she delivered 9 but only admitted to the lost hours once I sent her a management report generated by our very robust CRM system. If i were to guess I'd say that our campaign was being squeezed in amongst countless others. I shall not be using her services again.
Fortunately I had only paid for 9 hours work. Had i paid for the full 21 hours i would be pursuing this further...
I would recommend everyone use a CRM for their call makers/appointment setters as it tracks with 100% accuracy the work people complete for you.
