In this project, we will simulate an event-triggered impulsive control (ETIC) for a fractional order system. Event-triggered impulsive control is a control strategy that combines the benefits of traditional control theory with the advantages of impulsive control. It is particularly useful for systems that are sensitive to delays and have non-linear dynamics. In ETIC, a controller is designed to trigger an action at a specific event, such as the occurrence of a disturbance or the reaching of a threshold. This action is then used to adjust the system's state and control its behavior. The fractional order system that we will simulate is modeled using the Caputo fractional derivative, which is a well-known method for modeling non-linear systems. The system's dynamics (without control ) are defined by the following differential equation: D^{q}x(t)=f(t,x), x\in R^3, q\in(0,1), in our case q=0.81 .

The startingPointIndex represents the index of the reading at which the two consecutive differences are >= 0.01 • Detrending The raw measurements may contain a trend. A trend is a continued increase or decrease over time. The available readings until the startingPointIndex are used to model the trend and remove it from the data. So you will be givin a Matlab function with about 100 lines of code that do the detrending • Smoothing Standard Moving Average Smoothing and Kalman Filter are used to smooth raw measurements. You will be given data with raw measurements as inputs to the algorithm and the expected output. The final Java algorithm must output the same output of the Matlab results.
