Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hello. I apologize for the confusion. I relisted this job having one contribution already posted on Polearmball's website and forgot to set the price to the same level as the previous ad. Unfortunately I cannot afford to spend 300 per article. I need as many as 20 subjects covered before this is over using three to five writers per job. Perhaps I will never stop needing articles for the Polearmball website. When the bids started coming in I realized I must have done something different than what I did in the previous ads. It turned out I forgot to set the price on this job and submitted it with what was there by default. Again I apologize for the confusion.
...A panther will raise the hairs on your neck if you hear it growl in the wild. Minutes later without ever seeing him as he continues to stalk you his growl will get louder and closer until you either take flight or freeze in fear. His instinct is to warn all prey in the vicinity so that the weak and vulnerable ones stay behind. When the panther catches up with his prey its the ones who are easy pickings that stayed behind. The strong and able took flight and are long gone.
Please explore the present day practice of mankind using the Kiai (Yell) to communicate brawn, instill fear, demonstrate bravado, and release tension. Where did it come from and how is it used in Martial Arts? Native Americans are renown for their yells. An infant is born with a loud Kiai. Humans seem to be born with the instinct to emit a Kiai and I would venture to say that it is innate.
Explore all forms of lore and history of human imitations of sounds from the wild. This includes the origins and lore of imitating birds, which may have resulted in mankind discovering how to sing, yodeling (lore and history}, echo communication (lore and history) when available at canyons for example, and the present day practice of imitations/impersonations of other people as well as ventriloquism.
This will be web content for the Polearmball website. The Kiai (yell) is useful in Polearmball and it's use scores points in the game. I am looking for a creative article which is both entertaining and informitive. It should appeal to all ages. The deadline for this job is 10 days after being granted.
