BRIEF
One piece of unique content for each of the following locations, please specify which location you are interested in writing for and why (i.e. you have local knowledge of the area). Alternatively you can write multiple pieces if you are confident in you can research the area to write knowledgeably about each area.
***PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR THIS JOB IS 8PM SUNDAY 28TH JULY AND THE WRITER/S WILL BE SELECTED BY 4PM FRIDAY 26TH***
Berkshire

Hertfordshire
South Yorkshire
Surrey

West Sussex
We would like a maximum of 500 words on why a homeowner would want to live in each specific area.
Please consider local amenities and things that would improve a dweller’s quality of life, for example:
• transport links (local and international),
• local industry (biggest employers, booming sectors)
• culture
• nightlife
• sport
• educational institutions
• proximity to places of interest (countryside, beach, cities, landmarks etc.)
• Prominent/well respected local schools
• Police stations / crime rates for the area
In addition to the key information we would like to keep the text engaging with some more unusual and lifestyle based content.
This could include:
• Local stereotypes- true and false
• Local dialect phrases
• Atmosphere
• Did you know…?
• Famous locals
• Heritage
Although we do expect a well written article, the number of words isn’t the most important thing so please incorporate images and videos where you feel appropriate. You will be expected to source these where required - some images can also be found on our client's site.
TONE AND AUDIENCE
The tone should be a light hearted informal tone.
Please consider the balance of needs and preferences within potential home owners which could range from first time buyers to large families wishing looking for a larger property and retired couples downsizing.
HOW TO APPLY
If you are interested in working on this project, please bid with a fixed price per location and note any scalable differentiation to the quote in a PPH message when submitting.
Please provide two or three recent examples of work.
