I was asked for ID and taken to the police van. Upon being stopped and searched my car was searched and they found documents which they believed to be fraudulent but later no further action was taken.
When at the police station I sought the advice of a legal solicitor. When he arrived I made it very clear to him that I wanted to explain everything to the police because they have the wrong idea. He refused and did not allow me to have any say rather no comment as he claimed that he did not have any time. Because of this I felt pressured and given that my legal advisor was adding more pressure I listened and went no comment throughout the whole interview.
After the interview has ended they had decided that the bail should be refused because they felt I could possibly flea. I was gutted and kept in the cells from Friday to Monday 2pm when I attended that Magistartes Court in Bow. Given the circumstance and how long I had been kept in custody I was in shock and felt extremely tired as I had not slept properly over the 4 days.
My solicitor at court was different from the one who appeared at the police station in Bethnal Green. This was confusing but I had to deal with the matter. I explained everything to him and made it clear there was no intent to thief any petrol but I did drive uninsured. I said I would enter a guilty plea because I was so nervous and didn’t understand what had just happened. I was aware that I was entering a guilty plea. But upon this all happening i have realised that I have been convicted for theft or attempted theft of petrol wrongly as I paid and made clear attempts to pay.
Furthermore after this had all happened i was failed by my legal;team MK LAW. Because they did not send any letter to help with appealing as this is what we discussed after the hearing. I collected my files and I would like to file a complaint against the solicitor who attended the custody for failing to provide reasonable legal service and also professional negligence as he did not allow my instructions to be followed. I would need to vacate the Guilty plea and appeal even though this all ready happened in 2017 and the appeal date has clearly gone. I think because there is evidence that the conviction is not true as I did pay for the fuel it should be taken back to court. And I do believe due the the failure of the legal team involved I had lost out on appealing or even not having the conviction against my name.
I require assistance with making a complaint about MK Law. And to appeal against the attempted theft case against my name.

HI, If you paid for the petrol then you should not have been charged with theft. This whole situation is a mess. But you require the services of a registered Solicitor or Barrister, because you will have to appeal to the High Court as you are out of time for your normal appeal. This will cost a lot of money. There is no-one on PPH who can take on this work. Is that the real budget you are offering?
