Experience Level: Expert
1500 - 2000 word article required on UK company ownership structures.

The article should:

- Provide background on the main public and private ownership structures commonplace in medium / large sized UK companies
- Comment on the implications of each of these main structures on the company's operation
- Comment on how each of the main structures impact on the company's other key stakeholders, such as the company Directors and the company workforce
- Provide details of the ownership structures and owners of a selection of UK medium / large sized companies from across the FTSE350 sectors
- Comment on the exit opportunities for owners under each of the main ownership structures

The above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the areas that could be covered in the article and we are looking to the article writer to use their experience of this subject matter to provide some further suggestions. Therefore, as part of any bid submission bidders are encouraged to provide a high-level summary of how they would structure such an article and the areas they would include.

Below is some more general guidance on the style and content required. The article should:

- Have a clear structure
- Explain the basics
- Be written for those with a general level of business and financial competence commensurate with working as a professional in the business and finance sector, but who do not have a detailed knowledge of this particular subject matter
- Be written in a style which falls somewhere in-between that of a business press article and a research paper
- Make frequent use of real-life examples and case-studies to bring the subject matter to life
- Make use of pop-out text boxes, diagrams, table and / or charts to aid in communicating the article's key points in an engaging way, and
- Be interesting to read, even for a non-business / finance professional

The article should be written up in an editable form (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Pages or Keynote etc).

During the course of the work the writer may be provided with commercially sensitive information. Therefore the work will be awarded conditional upon the writer signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement ahead of being formally appointed.

We would like bids to be submitted on a fixed price basis.

This article is one in a series of three that will be posted in late October.

Please do let me know if you have any questions or points for clarification.

Kind regards
Ryan
