Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Industry: Publishing/Journalism
Topic: Music journalism
Tone: Witty/Sharp
Extensive research needed: yes
Extra notes: I run a popular online music magazine with 20-30 contributors, in a typical week we post around 40-50 short news posts (paragraph or two) and 10-15 features which are a bit longer.
I'm looking for someone to read the last couple of weeks of posts - not to edit and correct the writing - but to review our mistakes and use this to create a style guide.
I am imagining this would need to go through a few drafts with me, and I'd like it to be a mixture of:
(a) general tone/grammar advice - numbers, passive voice, capitalisation, much of this could be copied from other well-known style guides like BBC/Guardian, and
(b) specific to our content - formatting gig listings, avoiding common music clichés, etc.
Happy to answer questions and discuss costs
