$150 (US) for your first set.
$300 (US) per set for chosen repeat writers.
The Act
We have two characters. A robot and a Male. They will appear in various settings with various characters.
Think of the relationship with various puppets for a Ventriloquist. To keep the routine from getting old, ventriloquist have different characters. Here the robot and the partner change characters. Think of it as an Improv act mixed in the mix where the characters are given a place and two characters. The obvious is that the Robot acts and speaks like a robot. Robot is the straight man, except his inability to comprehend or accurately understand the speaker is comical. The other character is the person who is not great at working with robots. They treat the robot more like a real person. The disconnect between the two is the only thing that stays the same.
General Rules
The acts do not bully anyone, dislike or make fun of anyone, use bad language, etc. The audience is PG family.
Variety in Costumes / Characters
The sets are not back to back. We get Costume changes as often as a Diva. We create hats, gloves, or skirts that the robot wears.
Evaluation Criteria
Some writers will get multiple small laughs. (Criteria is qty of laughs)
Some writers get a couple of laughs, smiles, and an Explosion Laugh at the end. (Criteria is Quality of last laugh and entertainment of build up.)
September 1 is the deadline for first sets. We will choose repeat writers on Sept 3.
Good luck and Thank You for supporting us.
