This is an opportunity for the right candidate to form a long-term working relationship with an exciting new website for finding the best places to eat in the UK including restaurants, pubs, bars & more. Our website has information on businesses in the UK and allows users to post new content (images/menus/offers) and add reviews/blog posts about a business.
We need SEO articles relevant to our targeted audience on a regular basis (every 2-3 days) to tweet to our followers, build new followers & ultimately drive traffic/conversions to our website.
The articles must:
- Be interesting to read in order to be build new followers and be re-tweeted/stumbledupon etc increasing awareness of and new traffic/conversions to our site.
- Be relevant to our website category.
- Include at least 1 relevant image. (We'd prefer non-stock images, own photos a bonus. Obviously any images used will require permissions.)
- Contain targeted keywords.
Due to the long term nature of this project, we'd like to work with someone with a genuine interest in eating out, has experience in writing about it and lives in the UK. We'd also prefer someone with a comprehensive list of where to distribute/submit such articles.
Please include with your bid:
- Examples of writing.
- Average word count per article.
- Price per article.
- History of previous work in this category, if any.
Certain pages of our website also need to be re-written to improve content keywords. And, we're also planning a monthly competition to encourage users to write reviews on the places they've eaten at. At the end of each month, a winner will be automatically selected from those who have written reviews that month and win a night out (meal & drinks) for 2 on us upto the value of £100.
Your quote for this work should be price per article as web content will be considered an article per page and therefore the same cost of an article.
Please do NOT bid if:
- You're looking for short-term work.
- You cannot hit deadlines.
- You do not have enough time to commit.
- You live outside of the UK.
- You cannot start immediately. (First article within 72 hours)
- You cannot provide a well written bid. (We've had some sloppy ones in previous projects - Not a good thing when applying for a writing job.)
