We are the UK’s leading independent provider of CPD to the educational sector. We are looking for copywriters to provide marketing letters as part of our direct mail campaigns.
Initial job
4 letters to be sent to customers and non-customers. Each letter will promote one course
5 emails to be sent to customers. Each email will promote one course.
Potential contract
20 – 30 letters, every 6 weeks
5-10 emails per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)
Letter specification
Our letters tend to follow a standard format. Each letter:
Identifies a problem
Offers a solution to the problem: attend this course
Gives an overview of the benefits of attending
Identifies the difference that attending the course will make
Concludes with a clear call to action (to book)
Information provided: we will provide you with as much information about a course as we can. At the very least, you will receive a flyer and in most cases a ‘marketing sheet’. The marketing sheet will contain additional information, like a ‘passion pitch’ from the trainer running the course, a walkthrough of what will happen on the day, quotes from previous delegates (if any), any additional research available, and a list of useful websites.
Audience: Senior and middle leaders within schools.
Turnaround: Copy needs to be received by Thursday 9th February 2012.
Usual turnaround time is 2 weeks
