Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
Hi Jenny, Please see the attached document for an overview of the 'Training in Maths and English' (TiME) project..
The job is to write content for the TiME website, TIME.ocr.org.uk

Our preference would be to contract direct with you to provide this service but with payment for work delivered based on an hourly rate. However, this is open to discussion.

The home page is more or less blank at the moment but here is how it will be filled, including content provided by you:

Top
Blended and online Maths and English programmes for training providers, schools and colleges.
Prepare students for national qualifications at all levels to GCSE. Develop literacy, numeracy, communication and employability skills in realistic contexts.

Next to the text will be the twitter feed Just in TiME, then the log in fields.

Next section is a full-width slideshow of video and animation screenshots with scrolling text on top:

Maths and English training in realistic contexts
Courses mapped to national qualifications
Multi-level learning for mixed classes
Diagnostic testing and personal learning plans

Then below that, blocks with an image and a block of text, layout to be designed:

Explore TiME
Course outlines, methodology, tools and communities - what makes TiME.
[This content will largely be taken from the project overview document attached and will describe the courses, philosophy etc]

Who's on TiME?
We're working with training providers and colleges, and we want to work with you.
[This will be case studies about training providers and colleges who’re using the courses, and student stories. Researching it will involve talking directly with people who we introduce in the first instance, and you’ll build relationships with the training providers to keep updating stuff on them to give them plenty of visibility – so not just one-offs.]

Making TiME
TiME is an innovative programme of multimedia educational production built for and by young people and grizzlies. Look at what we're achieving together.
[This will be profiles, interviews and examples of the work, sneak previews etc of all the people involved in the production: actors, tutors, authors, artists, film production etc – including the Anglia Ruskin project. Again, ongoing and involving correspondence with the subjects.]

Question TiME
Everything you need to know about TiME.
[FAQ area: we’ll build this later, but it will include ‘how to’ videos and info on the courses, sales, technology requirements etc.]

Buy TiME
Do you want to be on TiME? We'd love to work with you.
[Just a contact form]

These titles will link out to areas of the site that cover those headings with those areas being mini-sites and expanding over time.

You’ll be using the conversation around the training providers and project production people to tweet etc, and work closely with the web team to ensure the site is looking good and continually updated. You’ll also work with them to analyse usage and website visibility across the social media space and wider web.

The project leader who will deal with you on content is

I will sort out the admin stuff involved in hiring you for this work
