Description
Experience Level: Expert
Canvas is a London venue-finding platform where people can search by their event type and location to find a venue or events space that is suitable for whatever occasion.
Brief: We are gradually developing our category pages to become more SEO-efficient and 'link-worthy' by creating quality content in a blog style to be added to the bottom of each page (with an H3 tag).
We're looking for someone to help us develop this content, following the basic examples that you'll find at the bottom of pages such as: https://www.canvas-events.co.uk/christmas-party-venues and https://www.canvas-events.co.uk/wedding-venues.
As you can see, this content mainly follows a 'top tips' or advice style blog, with step-by-step information for the users to go by. For obvious reasons, we want this content to be timeless but it should still be informative and engaging for users of our sites and the venues that can be found on the category pages. On top of this, any writing should be consistent with our brand and tone of voice.
What we want is around 1,000 words of keyword rich and quality content per category page, but we do have some keyword research we can provide for this.
As a venue-finding platform that is mainly based on event types, we have a lot of categories so we are fully aware that this is not a quick, short-term job. We suggest a trial piece of writing first; one that we can take into consideration for any future work with Canvas, as well as how we could potentially work together.
Required skills: Content writing, copywriting, creative, SEO
'Nice to have' skills: Cora, SEMrush, Google Page Insights, Sitechecker
