Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
We are seeking an English-native content writer with a comprehensive body of work, who is detail-oriented and adept at English-grammar.
Our firm specialises in attracting investment and creating opportunities for small to medium-sized enterprises to scale and build value. We work across several industry sectors from architecture and design to construction, to environmental services to business services and marketing. We’re in the process of overhauling our brand, website and content offering across all channels. And we’re looking for skilled creatives to craft compelling content.
As a valued remote team member, you will receive monthly briefs, ranging from articles of 1,000-2,500 words in length, eBook content ranging from 4,000 for a chapter to 30,000 for a complete book.
Each will fall within one of two themes:
1. How to content on a wide range of topics but initially focusing on business strategies for CEOs who want to grow their business
2. Editorials on industry themes and events. For example, the rapid growth of the boutique fitness sector and the opportunities it presents to fitness-focused entrepreneurs.
We want to build a team of reliable and skilled writers. Please feel free to apply if you can supply one of these two themes, remembering to indicate your preference. If this fits your profile, we would love to hear from you.
Once again, please only apply if you are English native. Applications from non-English natives will be rejected – no exceptions. You will need to be comfortable writing to a prescribed Tone of Voice (TOV guidelines will be sent). You will understand how to craft attention-grabbing headlines, intelligent, engaging and factual pieces that are simple and natural for the audience to read, understand and agree with. And you are happy to make small corrections at an editor’s request.
In your application, tell us about yourself, your background and process. Do include links to credited posts, which include personal blogs. We want to have a clear idea of your personality and quality of work – well-crafted and compelling content that gets read, shared and grows strong followings. If you’ve read this far down, please start your reply with the words ‘Hi Fred’
You agree that you will own no rights to the work or parts of the work, and you understand and agree that your name will not appear anywhere on the work. You will not be able to share or use the content with your future customers. We would retain all copyrights to the content.
We have 5 briefs ready to go, and another 3 to follow shortly. If hired, your first assignment should be seen as a paid test.
We are asking for bids for a 1,000 word article, a 2,500 word article and a 4,000 word eBook chapter.
