We seek a professional copywriter and editor with over 5 years’ experience – not to mention a passion for the English language!
The work can include web copy, articles, blogs, newsletters, descriptions, ebooks, sales letters, reports etc.
With every project you undertake, you should ensure you have a thorough understanding of the audience and the copy's purpose to ensure the writing is both engaging and effective.
You need to be able to research relevant news and find topics that are appropriate, and then rewrite according to our client’s style, audience, keywords etc.
You need to deliver an extremely competitive and professional service, be able to tailor copy for the target audience, highlighting the benefits that matter to the customers. Considering the audience when it comes to copy – their age, views, motivation etc – is vital to ensure the copy strikes the right note, appeals and ultimately achieves its purpose.
You need to be an SEO-experienced copywriter. Professionally written content speaks to customers in a language they understand and can relate to, providing that call to action and converting web traffic into customers.
This work will be on-going to be mutually beneficial.
You also need to demonstrate an ability to write in-depth pieces based on significant research, be professional, flexible, friendly and dedicated and always keep working on a project until the client is 100% happy.
We need 2-3 blogs a week (approx 300-500 words each) and 15 articles writing initially. You'll need time to understand the business, competitors, USPs etc; to research (when needed); to write and edit; and to proofread the final copy to ensure accuracy and grammatical correctness.
