Description
Experience Level: Expert
Digital agency seeking NATIVE language speaker to translate a Joomla property rental site from English into German
The website is build on a Joomla content management system.
This website has the Joom!Fish component installed which will aide you in clearly and efficiently managing the translation process. This component will allow you to get at, and translate every piece of text on the site. It will provide you with a clear list of content that requires translation to help you manage the process.
Full training will be provided for the winning bidder.
The website has already been partly translated into German previously, however a lot of development and new content loading has been done on the site since the original translation.
We are looking for a translator with an eye for detail to go through the existing translated content and review it to make sure it is accurate and up-to date, and to also translate any new un-translated content.
The website is a property rental portal with approx. 30 standard content pages, and approx. 48 property pages.
In addition to translating the above content (via JomFish in the CMS) there are also some other bits and pieces that need translation. They are as follows:
1. A word document containing approx. 30 images which have text in them
2. 25 .php language definition files.
(both of which are attached for your reference)
Regarding the site language definition files - these should be simple.
They are files that contain things like navigational text, field labels, button text, and module titles etc. Looking at a straw pole selection of these, there will be approx 60 words in each that will need translating.
- Full instructions will be given on how we need these translating.
Bidding candidates should ideally have had experience in doing this kind of work before.
Please feel free to contact me for further clarification.
