In 2015 women are still not equally represented in the business world. Despite being a well-known fact, it is a modern day taboo. The first step towards changing this reality should be demolishing the taboo – speaking openly and addressing this situation vocally: women deserve equal representation and equal compensation. To begin with, implementation of non-discriminatory and transparent recruitment policies should be carefully monitored across big organizations, promoted by male leaders and adopted as standards across industries.
