TASK: Native English blog post editor with exceptional grammar wanted to proof read and edit 29 blog posts with an average word count of 800 words each. (US English- target audience- native English speaking countries.)
Details:
1. Soften any awkward or rude phrasing. Some of these articles were written by non-native English writers. All articles need to have a cohesive writing style written in professional (but friendly) American English by a team of native english speakers based in London.
2. Any name inserts should be written in the following format: [Insert Name]
3. Subheadings should be in title case and follow this format: Template/ Email/ Example No. | First Person Summary of What the Template is Saying. This summary should be written in first person and should explain the purpose of the template in a captivating way. You can be witty or matter of fact here.
4. Each template should be followed by 3-4 conclusive sentences which summarise what situations that particular template is good for and why it is effective.
5. Highlight any text changes
6. Apply perfect grammar down to full stops and speech marks.
7. Wittiness is encouraged but please remove any profanities or wording that may cause offence or make the text look unprofessional.
8. Each article should have a captivating introduction and conclusion designed to engage the reader.
9. We stand for the ideologies of a progressive society and aim to be non- judgemental and inclusive of as many people as we can. Please reword any presumptuous wording. For example in the article "reject a marriage proposal" the writer assumes that the marriage in question is between a man and a woman. Use inclusive wording such as "partner" "significant other" or "spouse" and reword the copy to reflect 21st century western relationships.
10. The aim of this blog is to provide diplomatic, insightful and sensitive examples of what to say in difficult conversations. Our aim it to help people handle difficult conversations in the best way they can. This blog is all about effective communication.
11. You'll receive the articles to edit in Word format along with an example edit of which all other articles should follow.
