Freelance editorial management, writing, image editing role for health and food website

We are an online health and weight management website looking for a talented freelance editor and journalist with a passion for health, exercise and good healthy recipes/eating!

You will have a passion for crisp, well researched and informative prose, an eye for a good story, and a love of good grammar and punctuation. You will also be web savvy, have some experience of content management systems and able to file spot-on, publication ready copy.

We also need a good eye for - and basic skills in the editing of - images for articles, and an ability to manage and edit copy from other writers.

You will be fluent in the English language (predominantly UK-English, though we have an international audience).

It may also help if you have specific experience in popular health writing, food and recipes, and weight loss.

The role is freelance, paid by hour and word-count and the role is immediately available.
