Creative writer/ journalistic style (some research required)

I am looking for someone who can write new articles/ creatively "fill-out" existing online stories/tales for a new website/ blog platform themed around the horror/thriller genre. The website will be a localised hub of stories, both real and fictional.
The writer for this job will need to carry out some basic online research/ content collection, and locate stories that are interesting that might be improved upon/ added to through aggregating various accounts.
There is also the opportunity to add new stories to the page, from accounts that I have collected. I would provide facts, and the writer would need to expand this into an article in a journalistic/ creative writing style.
My budget would need to spread to a number of articles, and I will take you suggestion as to how many you could gather and write for this budget.
