Description
One of the services we provide is supporting clients to bid for public sector contracts for services commissioned by Local Authorities and other Public Sector Commissioning Bodies. Part of this work involves writing business cases and propositions on behalf of clients.
We are looking to recruit a number of Bid Writers who will expand our existing team and allow us to respond to increasing client demand. We are particularly interested to hear from people with professional experience in the following industry sectors: Electrical Contracting, Facilities Management, Highway Maintenance, Construction, Distribution & Logistics.
The role of our Bid Writers is to create high-quality text content in close collaboration with Bid Managers and Bid Evaluators. Previous bid writing experience is not essential as full training will be provided you will have ongoing support from our friendly team.
We pay competitive rates for good quality content. The role is a freelance position, which means there is no contractual commitment on either side. It is also home-based meaning there is no requirement to attend our offices on a routine basis. The role would be ideal for someone with a health or social care professional background who is looking for a flexible income and working arrangement.
Payment of your agreed fee will be made as soon as each piece of work is complete to the required quality standard.
Successful candidates will be valued members of our team and you will have the opportunity to provide an interesting and much-needed service to our clients.

Hello, Please can you clarify what your budget of £250 covers? Thank you.
Bill W.24 Nov 2021Hi Megan
Yes, of course, thank you for asking for clarification.
The rate reflects payment to a writer delivering 2500 words of written content, so in other words we pay a rate of £100/1000 words.
Let me clarify the working context so you can judge how fair or realistic that rate is.
Our writers work within a team that is led by a Bid Manager. They work from home with no travel requirement. The Bid Manager would support the writer by doing all the preparation work, outlining the structure for the writing and sourcing all the information required from the client via recorded interviews.
The writer's role is then to listen to the recording, extract the salient information and write the content inline with the structure provided by the Bid Manager.
In that sort of context, with the preparation done and detailed information provided, our existing writers can comfortably produce 2500 words or more in a working day.
We don't cap the volume of writing our writers produce and several will provide 3-4000 words per day, earning an equivalent day rate of £3-400.
I hope that makes sense. If you'd like to talk about the role, please feel free to give me a call on 07594826246.
Best Wishes
Bill
