Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated Job duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Ministry - Prayer, Repentance & Healing; Social Injustices
Description of every page/module: Upon request – all passwords will be provided.

Currently using JustHost.com. Currently running 4.1 Wordpress. Recently upgraded from 1.2.7 Rockford to 1.3.2 Rockford. Currently operating off of 1.0 Rockford child theme.

The Rockford 1.3.2 is compatible with IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox. (probably not with mobile devices yet)

- Home Page photo (Ocean scene) will remain. Feel free to reinstall if necessary. I've attached a JPEG image. Also located in Media Gallery in WordPress. Or make adjustments to existing photo. You determine.

- The current logo needs to be removed. I have another logo instead. If you go to the 3rd Menu button "Alternative Logo" you can see it there. I am also attaching a PowerPoint presentation which contains the new logo. Please notice the logo's specific placement against the clouds. Try to duplicate the exact location.

- The web developer to the Rockford theme does provide support when you purchase his theme. He mentioned the following:

- The images will be resized using the WordPress image size feature, the image used as full background image is 1024px wide, you can change this parameter in the config/config-general.php file on line 111, then remember to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin like “Force regenerate”.

- I've installed the Force Regenerate plug-in for your convenience if you need to use it.

- Rockford's web developer stated that there was no need for me to repurchase a different photo size but just make the necessary adjustments.

- The purchased photo is 4250 x 2800 px – 300 dpi.
Description of requirements/features: Home Page Corrections:

Please go to the site's URL. Please click on Home Page. Please click on 2nd Menu tab "Study Page for Home Page". This explains the current problems. The logo "moves" around. The top/bottom photo sometimes appears cropped. The right/left photo sometimes appears cropped too. Several of my friends who have lap tops went to my Home Page & provided me with "print screen shots". They were not impressed with the home page.

- On my desk top, whenever I would use the "restore down" button I would notice a sizeable white empty space along the top/bottom side of the frame. This is not normal for any home page. This is posted for your review.

- My friend whenever she would use the "restore down" button on her lap top noticed a white empty space left/right along the bottom of the page. The scripture print lines actually fell into this empty white space at the bottom of her screen. This is not normal for any home page. I didn't get a print screen shot of this specific problem.

- This white empty bar spaces left/right or top/bottom occur whether viewed from a desk top or lap top.

- The print screen shots have been posted onto my site's menu tab "A Study Page for the Home Page". (2nd menu button under Home Page button)

- These print shots differ dramatically from the Home Page viewed from inside WordPress.

- Also if you think that maybe the customizations that I requested earlier (removal of medallion on bottom center line & gold medallion on right bottom corner of home page) might help to correct the Home Page problem - it's OK to return them. If the removal of these items has nothing to do with the Home Page problems - let's leave them alone as I think the page's appearance is nice without them. These medallions when clicked allowed the viewer to scroll further down to use different functions like the search engine, etc. But the stability of the home page should take a priority. If returning these items will help - let's go ahead with these tasks to return them. It's OK with me. But you determine what should be done.

Let me know if you require further information.

Sincerely...........Elizabeth

Extra notes: Please note that I have clicked the "private" button for every page and menu tab. This causes a "404 Error" message. It is easily corrected when I click on "public". Since the website is under construction - I didn't want anyone traveling through the articles that are also under construction.

Let me know if you require further information.

Sincerely..............Elizabeth
