I recently created a website at www.ChicagoPropertyHunters.com. It is being hosted through Wix. It is a real estate website. However the property search platform "IDX" (used for searching through properties" can not be used on a Wix based site. The IDX that I am using is through IDXBroker.com
If I login to IDX Broker they have created several codes for me to put on a wordpress site. It is how the IDX was intended to be used. Since my site is through Wix, I had to work around this issue by iframing the the search in my Wix. It does not do the trick and looks terrible.
So here is my solution and where you come in....
I have just purchased a new domain www.SEARCHChicagoPropertyHunters.com through GoDaddy and have installed Wordpress. I would like to have the Wix site function as it does now but I would like to point the "search" button and "Property Search" menu tab to the wordpress site, www.SearchChicagoPropertyHunters.com (I can handle that). I would like you to create a basic Wordpress site that looks similar to my Wix page. I have browsed through a few different themes and can't seem to get it right. I will need something very simple. Just the purple header and the logo "ChicagoPropertyHunters" that is shown on the Wix site. Other than that it will only need three menu tabs (two pages)
Home Menu Button- This will direct users back to the Wix page (ChicagoPropertyHunters.com)
Property Search Button - The code for the property search will be the only thing on this page (provided by IDXBroker.com)
Map Search Button - The code for the map search will be the only thing on this page (provided by IDXBroker.com)
I will give you all login information for IDXBroker and Wordpress. Is this something you can do for me?
