Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Furniture site
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: We have a website that has been replaced by a new one and keen to have the redirects setup asap to where we have relocated the legacy site to.
The URLs are all in a text file for you already we just need some help doing it as there seems to be a conflict in there with urls getting into a loop. We use WP Yoast SEO Premium which is great but we have so many urls (around 2800) that's not an option. I mention this in case it is somehow a conflict here.
example of a redirect is:
Redirect 301 "/2009" "http://legacy.your-domain.com/2009"
Redirect 301 "/blog/outdoor-kitchen-5" "http://legacy.your-domain.com/blog/outdoor-kitchen-5"
Extra notes:
This is not a big job, I know that as I've had several done before. My developer is away for the weekend so I'm outsourcing. At most 2hrs for someone who is very experienced in Redirects. As I say they are all done and in there, they may just have slightly wrong format which is a simple series of find and replace commands. I'm adding a budget now as some of these proposals are ridiculous.
