We are developing an exciting and interesting social community website. The site has been in development for a while now and we will be launching soon.
We have decided that we are going to integrate our site - which is primarily programmed in PHP - effectively with the relevant social media leading the market at the moment. In particular we would possibly like to add the following features to our website:
- The ability to log in with Facebook Connect (maybe Twitter as well)
- The ability to additionally publish to both Twitter Feed and Facebook Status update from a single publish function within our site
- The ability to \'Like\' or \'Follow\' our relevant Twitter & Facebook pages from our site
- To take advantage of the Facebook Live Stream plugin (within Fb Connect) which allows users to publish updates to their Facebook profile in real time while watching a live event published on our site
These are the main features we are currently interested in, although we are open to discussing whether we ought to consider omitting or including any further features, based on our current website.
Working as one-off for a successful web publishing company, there may also be additional opportunities, if you would like, to get further involved with this very exciting site down the line. One future development we might consider is adding a Facebook App which effectively uses content from our site, although this is another matter.
We would like to discuss this project openly with anyone who has any knowledge in these areas (external integration of social media).
Thanks,
Josh Martin
