Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: A simple php script generating a CSV file of contacts - then import into Outlook. MUST preserve all special characters.
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of every page/module: There is only 1 script that needs updating.
Description of requirements/features: I have a simple PHP script that exports contacts to a CSV file. This file is then imported into Outlook 2016.
The special characters need to be preserved.
The names have special characters from all over Europe (Czech, French, Spanish, German, Estonian, etc). They must all be preserved when imported into Outlook 2016.
I have tried importing the CSV into Excel 2016. I have done with successfully and preserved the special characters. I have exported the contacts from Excel to a CSV file preserving the special characters. I still cannot import this into Outlook 2016.
We will need to update the Outlook contacts regularly. We would prefer to automate this process. Perhaps a CSV file is not the best method? I am open to options.

Hi Daren,
What is the initial source of data?
Perhaps PHP might not be a better way of doing this. If you are on a windows OS, then we can follow C#/Java approach and then dumping the data via VBScript.
Let me know.
Thanks,
Yuvraj!
