Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
I have project, ready to go, which requires the build of a website and webapp. The app is similar to the document customisation which you can find on the moonpig.com website. This is an interest project with iterations planned over the next few months. Would you be interested in taking something like this on?

We will be providing all artwork and design, so you're purely on build. We have budget, a specification and are ready to roll. Let me know if this is of interest and we can discuss the details.

We are only seeking to work with UK or Dutch based freelancers. Note, that if you are Dutch, you must have excellent English language skills.

    Hi Simon

I am very interested to find out more about the graphical interface that creates the PDF - the core of the project. What sort of print examples do you have in mind? Invitations, Birthday Cards, Brochures etc..?

I would like to find out more about the graphical interface. Do you have any online examples?

The rest of the project (user management, dashboards etc) is more straightforward.

    Best Regards

    Magnus

    Hi Magnus,

The GUI will be created by my team's task and we'll send those through. This is purely about building the engine, not the design.

This will be for journals, diaries and things like that? The Moonpig.com interface is inline with what we're after.

Hope that helps. Thanks for your interest.

Would the PDF designs be limited to a number of templates? This would make it easier to define the scope of the project. For example, in the first version, you could offer 20 templates across various paper sizes, that users could add content to. It would make it easier if there was a fixed number of templates. Each template would have various features that users can customize. I have seen this with other print websites - where you don't have complete control of the layout, but you can usually pick a template that best suits your use.
