Experience Level: Entry
I have a PHP script that is run by a cron job to rearrange an xml file.
The XML file contains product data, ready for import into my website.
The product data gets adjusted by the PHP script to get create extra records for "parent products" (i.e. it checks the SKU field of each product, and if there are some products with a certain character, it recognises these as child products, or options of teh same product, and creates a new record for a "parent product", copying all data from one of teh child products.

However, it does not work quite how i want, because it shoudl create the price field as the lowest value of all related child products., instead it actually just copies the price from another of the the child product, not necessarily the cheapest.

I need someone to tell me a line of code to add, that will make the price for the newly created product the lowest value of any associated product.
