Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Brief Bombay Bicycle Club
Background
BBC is a new Company that has been set up to deliver generic Indian food but in a particular manner with its own USP’s.
The brand already has value as a successful known delivery business that has dwindled because of mismanagement and eventually dissolved. There is no negative publicity for the brand, but it is old and dated, hence we feel it is an opportunity to re-launch in the style that we would like.
Business Ethos
We wish to establish ourselves as the eco friendly Indian food delivery business that is up with the times with both choice of menu, delivery of product and caring for the environment by using only recyclable packaging. This may be the paper bags that we use to the biodegradable and recyclable plastic containers we will use for food, and for the paper used for our menus.
We will do our best to source organically grown vegetables and responsibly farmed meats.
Brand Design
Our vision for the brand is to be fresh and funky and modern. We are open to the use of a series of pop art images and design not dissimilar to Old Indian film Posters. Along with the branding the designs will be colourful and as such our choice of font (easily legible) and design should work in unison.
The menu will have a complete section of Biryani’s from the Indian sub-continent
Bombay Bicycle Club starring “The House of Biryani” ( we are doing biryani’s from all of sub-continent India) – see menu – This could be a menu within a menu
The marketing print should ensure that it is firstly a selling vessel as well as being a piece of art!
Be Bold and Be Wild - we can work backwards from there
See attached idea that we like design style and presentation with a roll down facility as well as a dropdown menu.

We like the style but do not want to copy their design
Design requirements:
Web design
We envisage the following pages
1. About BBC – copy will be supplied and will be minimal
2. Contact
3. Social Media
4. Catering
5. Menu
6. Ordering
7. Sign up for promotions
8. Privacy Code GDPR
These do not have to be individual pages for example Contact and Sign up for promotions can be on the same page.
Attached is the central image for our website and will be integrated in all our marketing efforts.
Branding font is Hooverville
We require an order online button and we will supply you with the URL for this.
We have identified quotes which reinforce our ethos below, which we can have on the pages placed on notice boards see the website example given.
“Gentle footprints today will ensure a path for tomorrow”
“East or West going green is the best”
“make everyday earth day”
“The earth is what we all have in common”
“Conservation is a state of harmony between men and land”
