Description
Experience Level: Entry
I am a Photographer and am currently creating my own website from a Flash / XML Photography template I recently purchased.
I am NOT a designer/coder but have managed to successfully almost finish this site.
What I want to do is REALLY simple - yet because I don't have the skills I don't know how to do it and it's proving hard for me.
I want to amend the MENU on my site to change one button so that when clicked on would take the user to my Blog site - I'm sure someone who knows what they're doing would take 5minutes for them to do this. I don't know how to and I've spent hours trying to work it out !
I'd rather pay someone for their time to tell me (i.e. SHOW ME) how/what to do this so that I can be on my way and get on with finishing my site etc.
So, to reiterate, I have several buttons on my www.myname.com site i.e. "Home, About, Gallery, Contact, etc etc" and I want to add/change ONE button to become "Blog" so that when the user clicks on that button, I want them to be redirected to my wordpress blog site (i.e. myname.wordpress.com) - either 'in' my site or to take them to a new window (dead easy that bit I know !).
The code is XML and it's a Flash based site (CS3 / AS2) and I've attached a sample of the sitemainmenu.xml file for you to see the format. I don't believe any Flash would need to be changed, any Javascript, Actionscript etc, I think (though I'm no expert) that it'll be changing/adding some lines to the attached XML sitemainmenu.xml file).
As mentioned, this will take someone knowledgable 5 minutes to tell me what the 2-5 lines of code are needed to fix this and I'm willing to pay for the answer because I cannot find it anywhere on the web, on a forum etc
Hope someone out there can help.
Many thanks,
Jez
