Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: website lists venues that are used for filming
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of every page/module: We have a Google Docs form link on one of our web pages. The web page has a text code i.e "A105" in it. This code needs to be transferred to be a pre-populated value in the Google Docs Form for one of the text fields in the form and then when the rest of the form is filled out by the user and it must update the google spreadsheet when the form is submitted as well.
Description of requirements/features: Fix the problem above.
An example page with the text code in is
http://www.altostratus.co.uk/locations/arunava/?level-1
This also has the code in at the top left Location Code: A169. Its the code number we need ie "A169" as an example.
This page also has the button at the top of the page "Make an Offer" that links to the Google docs form i.e
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?usp=drive_web&formkey=dFMxMkxUOTd2dFRvQlprejM2a18wLXc6MA#gid=0
Simply you need to pre-populate the Google Docs form field "Location Code" with the actual location code i.e "A105" from the web page.
You may be able to do something with url parameters attached to the form link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?usp=drive_web&formkey=dFMxMkxUOTd2dFRvQlprejM2a18wLXc6MA#gid=0.
Please just set up your own little web page and have a linked google docs form and the aim is to pass the value "i.e "A105" accross in the URL or other method you can make it work.
Specific technologies required: Google Docs, The web site is in php
