The budget is an estimate only; willing to be flexible on this for the right result.
I'm looking for a developer to convert the Spree ecommerce code/framework, that is freely available, from an ecommerce site to a search engine site that pretends to be a commerce site.
We will be scraping 200+ supplier websites for products using software we have acquired. This will then generate a csv of around 200,000 products that require bulk import.
Each page on the website is monetized through ads
The site is free to use for the end user
The suppliers will be charged a listing fee (and/or scraping fee) and should have their own account area where they can upload products, edit their contact details, set a product to be premium listed - their account area is very similar to ebay shop owners
No payment will be taken on our site, the user has the choice to get in contact with the supplier (via contact details on the product page) or click thru to the product on the suppliers own site
Due to the size of the product library, a good search function is required
From what I have seen on GitHub et al; their is a wealth of Spree code and add ons which should make the task fairly straightforward; however I accept there is still some independent work required.
See attached front end mock ups, these will also need properly designed and built.
For reference, see sites like www.zoopla.co.uk ; www.furnish.co.uk as well as google shopping.
