Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
General information for the website: Tennis Club Website
Description of requirements/features: We would like to have someone develop a new stats/scoring package for our clients tennis website to run as a self contained scoring system alongside the existing website.
Here is a brief outline of what will be required but a tighter brief will be supplied on request -
1. Public Facing Landing Page With Login Form
This is the only public facing page required on the site. Beyond this a user would have to either login or sign up for an account.
2. Logged In Landing Page
Once the user signs in, they see a dashboard page with top level navigation of:
View all Players | View all Fixtures | View all Results | View all Leagues
There will also be an actions menu:
Logout | Edit my profile | Create/edit a match | Create/ edit a League
And finally a ‘Player Search’ box
Choosing any of the ‘view all’ pages will open the relevant listing page to see a list of
players/matches/leagues.
Clicking on a player’s name will open that player’s profile page -
3. Player Profile Page
Based on the visual supplied this will show the contact info, recent form and win ratio for that player. Contact details will be displayed to allow a user to contact that player and request a match. Contact is left to the players to choose to either email or phone.
4. Edit Player’s Profile Page
This is where each user will create matches or leagues and record the scores for each fixture.
5. Matchboard page - Players will be able to post a time and date for other members to see when they are available to play. A member would then click on the player linking through to his profile which gives email or phone contact details for them to arrange a game.'
6. Admin
It is required to provide a separate admin area where an administrator could create, view, edit and delete players, matches, leagues etc.
7. In Future
Site should be built in such a way as to allow future development.
Examples of similar work carried out will be required along with portfolio items for us to select the relevant candidate.
