Hi,
Before anything could you please clarify :
- what type of database, if any, is the website currently using? (e.g. MS Access, MS SQL Server, etc.)
- do you already have the new MySQL database in place?
- if so, do you already have the website database structure set-up on the MySQL server?
- would you also need migration of the legacy data or you'll like to start with the new database from scratch?
- would you be able to provide access to the hosting environment?
Thanks,
TomVen M.09 Oct 2016Currently it is connecting to HP-3000 and you will not have access to it
You would be establishing a new data connection to MySQL and you would be creating all the tables and move the data so as to make the asp code to work with the new database -
Hi ven,
Any deadline for the project?Ven M.09 Oct 2016No deadline. But reasonable time to complete it

Ven
Your task is not clear, site files exist but no database?
Please share full detailsVen M.09 Oct 2016The code is working and the site is live. But it is connecting to HP-3000. Instead, this task requires creating a new MySQL database, move the data and establish the new data connectivity so as to work in a cloud web-hosting server

Can you share some URL. -
Hi Ven,
could you send me the pages you mention. Also, is your MYSQL databse already setup?
Thank you,
LucyVen M.08 Oct 2016The web pages are currently LIVE and Running. Once we agree upon this task, I plan to make a copy of the entire web-site and send it to you via FTP. Though I can identity a web page, I am afraid that there would be links to other pages also.
Currently, it is connecting to HP-3000, MySQL Database is not yet set up. I believe that you would set up the database [which would make your work a lot easier]
