Project description:
We are running an a2billing & freepbx installation with calling card feature enabled and working. There is now an opportunity to offer “Wholesale VoIP calling for business” to smaller integrators who supply customer CPE IP-PBX’s as well as to smaller VoIP service Providers.
Requirements:
All services must be pre-pay.
• Have the ability to offer (and restrict) a set number of SIP/IAX2 channels at $X per channel per month – need to be able to set a customer up with a set number of channels and charge accordingly. 1 month’s notice is required to downgrade channels, but must be able to add a pro-rata charge for additional channels added mid month (not too serious if you are unable to do the latter).
• Option of trusted IP address SIP peering arrangement i.e. instead of username/password authentication, a lot of customers prefer trusted IP option – this needs to be an option as well as the standard username/password option.
• DIDs:- Need to create a plan whereby a customer can go via his a2billing customer portal and select new DIDs (by local calling area). These must be charged at $X each per month (no pro-rata i.e. if a new DID is selected mid month, the full monthly fee is still charged). Incoming calls to DIDs will be free, except tollfree DIDs which will be charged according to the origination type.
• Various calling plans and packages to be built:
Call Plans (all must be able to select DIDs from a list)::
1. VoIP User (for individual VoIP clients who use registration authentication). Individual access only
2. Wholesale SIP Trunk (for wholesale customers using trusted IP address SIP peering). Flexible simultaneous call limit – from 2-200
Packages:
1. Standard (no free minutes – standard rates)
2. Free local minutes (for geo areas that we can allocate DIDs for only)
3. Wholesale (separate ratecard)
Timeframe:
Would ideally like this implemented in 2-3 weeks time :-)
