Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Client Magento 1.9 website
Description of requirements/features: I have a client with a Magento 1.9 site and I need to alter the way that percentage priced custom options work (and it must be done so that when the site is updated the modification is not lost).
Currently Magento calculates percentage prices using the base product price regardless of options but I need it to use the accumulative price. Eg:
Product Base Price: £1
Option 1: +10% (10% of £1 = 10p therefore price is now £1.10)
Option 2: +10% (10% of £1.10 = 11p therefore price is now £1.21)
Access to server, FTP and MySQL are all available.
Specific technologies required: magento, php, mysql, Javascript, Prototype
Extra notes:
**** PLEASE NOTE THE BRIEF HAS CHANGED!! ****
The core PHP code to update the price correctly has now been done BUT the front end does not reflect the change so this is now a javascript issue. Those that are still interested please revise your proposals and resubmit! Thanks!

Before I send a proposal, just wondering how many options you're likely to need?
Also how consistent will the options be across product types? Will certain product types share the same option (e.g option 2 - +10%), or could many products of the same 'type' - or in the same category - use varying options?Matthew C.27 Sep 2017Hello,
As they are custom options there could be any number - there could also be fixed price options but the percentage calculation should still use the price WITH options applied, not the base price.
