Description
Experience Level: Expert
Thank you for looking at this job post!
BACKGROUND:
We need to integrate a job stream delivered by api into a Joomla 3.x website that is already designed and operational - the api will be developed by a company called Broadbean.
We need to make sure that the website will integrate the Broadbean api successfully and we need to supply Broadbean with information for them to develop the api. We can test the api using a feed from Broadbean.
The Broadbean api is to deliver jobs to the clients website (they are a recruitment company), we already have designed and developed the website so we now need to integrate the feed which requires some development of the website so that jobs are placed ads per design. The website is on our development server and is close to completion.
REQUIRED FROM YOU:
• Great work ethics
• Be able to scope out project and provide timescales to complete
• Stick to deadlines
• Great English
• Communication via digital interface such as Skype (voice and video calls as well as messaging)
• Experience in Joomla development
• Ideally api development experience (so you understand process)
• Be able to liaise and communicate with Broadbean UK company support team (by phone /email, as and when required)
PROJECT LIFECYCLE
The website is on our development server, once we've tested api and it works 100%, we will look to move the website to live status - you will need to support this transition, it will be tested again on it's new server before we make live. You will need to alter any code that is reliant on url for api so that it works 100% in it's new location.
OTHER INFORMATION
There's a few other changes required to the website, we also have ongoing web dev requirements on other projects so we would ideally like a company who are happy to receive additional work. Who are organised and work to best practice levels in a timely fashion, that can meet deadlines.
TIMESCALE:
You need to complete and successfully test api within 1 week of agreement - we think this is 2 days work max for competent developer!
BUDGET:
Maximum £150 - although if you're the right team we'd be happy to pay more.
There's other work for the website to consider so if you can complete on time and within budget there's additional work on this website and several others we need support with.
PLEASE NOTE:
We're not looking for individuals who have lots of knowledge but cannot manage a job or communicate in english effectively - please do not apply if you don't have high level skills, great english, working on time and budget and ideally experience with api lifecycle or development. Remember you also have to speak with Broadbean Uk company to successfully deliver project. So if your application does not meet criteria then we may not reply to you - apologies in advance but time is limited.
TO BEGIN:
Ideally by Tuesday 13th January - this is when we'd like to award the work and complete admin so the project begins Wednesday 14th and ideally completed Friday 16th or at the most the following Monday 19th January. It's imperative that you can work to deadlines and keep us informed along the way, by email, message, call, video call, share screen, etc!
Look forward to hearing from you!
