OneSpecs.co.uk is built on Joomla and Virtuemart. It sells a range of glasses and sunglasses. We currently use a Joomla extension called VirtueMart Cherry Picker by which our customers can filter products by selecting different options for product attributes, e.g. colour, brand, price range. This can be seen at work on the left module of the following page:
http://www.onespecs.co.uk/glasses
This works quite well but looks a little dull. We would like a JavaScript front end to the component so it works in a similar way to http://www.wantglasses.co.uk/
The menu must work though just one click to filter by any attribute and then another click on that same attribute to remove it. For certain attributes we would like to include images (which we will supply). It must be user friendly and professional in appearance. It is also a requirement that the developer provides some simple instructions on how we can alter the code to include new filters should we introduce any in the future. Also commenting of the code is essential.
A more detailed specification document can be supplied to serious bidders.
Bidders must be competent in JavaScript, PHP and experienced with developing and altering Joomla components.
