Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for capable front-end website developers to take two (2) PhotoShop (.psd) templates and turn them into HTML templates. This will consist on a homepage design and second level page template.
An example of what we are after can be seen at:
- Homepage - www.woldinghamschool.co.uk
- 2nd level - www.woldinghamschool.co.uk/default.aspx?id=2
Final designs will be uploaded via the clarification area later this week.
The supplier shall take the designs and develop a fast, reliable and compliant (to XHTML Strict) website template consistent with the designs, styles and interactions. The Supplier should also strive to
achieve DDA Priority 2 accessibility. Each Project should work across the following browsers [IE7+, FF3+, Safari, Chrome], and work gracefully in IE6 (and display unsupported popup). The PC will be the primary operating system for styling sign-off, although it will be expected to look good on a Mac.
It would be a bonus if the developer could turn the templates into .Net MasterPages.
It is important that the developer has good XHTML, CSS2.0, JavaScript and JQuery skills.
The final templates will be used by a back-end developer to integrate into an existing CMS - so care must be taken to ensure the code is constructed in such a way as to ease splitting into Header, Navigation Content and Footer 'include' sections.
We have lots of these template based projects should this one be a success.
Thanks
