Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated duration: Hoping for 1 day
Description: We have 2 websites that have some issues that need to be fixed. The first site is:
http://amorewithoutborders.dolcemag.com
This site has a script that allows multiple different lip graphics to follow the mouse cursor as it moves around the screen.
The problem we are finding is that the alignment can be off depending on what browser size the user has set when the website loads. The correct position of the lips should always be centered on the page so that the shadow is correctly positioned on the ground, and the lips slip with half on the left side and half on the right. Another issue we are facing with this script is that the cursor only responds when it is directly over the lip layer. We have other layers in the foreground. Whenever the cursor moves over those foreground layers, the lips stop following the cursor.
The second site is: http://tartaruga.dolcemag.com
This site has a wordpress plugin that allows us to create rotating banners. The problem we are having is that on some versions of Chrome with Windows 7 service pack 1, they are not seeing the carousel plugin loading. All they are seeing is a black page with a header and footer.
We noticed this issue this past week after an update has been made to the header, so we are assuming this is the reason for the problem.
When applying for this job please specify what you suspect is wrong, and how you will fix this (We will use this information to sort the best applicants).
