Hi,

I have bought auction software for a new website that is written in php and MySQL The problem we have is how the site takes fees incurred by a user.

As the site is currently written, the user has to deposit funds into their account through the current payment gateways written into the site (Stormpay, Paypal etc) and then the site can take the fees. We are concerned that the user will forget to do this and then the site cannot take the fees.

What we want instead is an automated payment process where once a month the site can take any fees generated by a user directly from the users Payapl account. In otherwords, exactly how ebay does.

The current payment gateways, tabs and accounting menu/functionality will all have to removed and the new payment system written in instead.

Also, in the registration process, before a new user can complete the registration, they will have to provide their paypal email address so we can take their fees. At the moment this is not written into the registration process so it would need to be included. If the new user does not have a paypal account, they must then be directed to paypal to create an account and once they have completed this they can complete the registration.

The software was purchased from www.ilance.com. If you view their website, they have demos of both the user and back end so hopefully this will help you understand it.

I need to know if 1. You can do this work for us and 2. Timescales.

Thanks,

Ross
