Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Need a url re-write rule for web.config to remove .aspx from all our url's.
And deliver the home page as www.mywebsite.com (Not as www.mywebsite.com/default
E.G.
www.mywebsite.com/geography.aspx = www.mywebsite.com/geography and NOT www.mywebsite.com/geography/ (Current applied rule is adding ‘/‘)
www.mywebsite.com/geography/under_the_sea.aspx = www.mywebsite.com/under_the_sea NOT www.mywebsite.com/under_the_sea/
We have applied various user-friendly rules and change structure from directories with default.aspx in them to a non directory structure
**Currently our internal menus are looking for .aspx versions of pages which will be adjusted when correct rule is in place.
Rule needs to show only one page the non .aspx file for SEO indexing
Copy of current .config file will be provided for adjustment. Website name will be provided on acceptance
