Description
Experience Level: Entry
Our site has a simple HTML/PHP onepage layout with a Google StreetView app running in the main window, the search/select tools for the map-view are in an overlaying sidebar https://ad-rank.co.uk/through-the-porthole/
The desktop version is OK, but the mobile view converts the sidebar to a footer, this footer needs to flexibly expand upwards to allow the drop-down menus to be displayed (iOS devices do this automatically), and allow the 'Quiz placeholder' to be visible. Currently, this placeholder is partly hidden by the 'Sharing' icons. On the live version of the site, the placeholder will be an expanadble list of questions, placed using a snippet of .js in the HTML template. We don't know how tall this quiz will be, so the footer needs to be a dynamic-height to fit it in and not have its 'Submit' button hidden by the sharing icons.
We'll send the page's files to you in a zip-archive to edit on your server. We'd like to see a screenshot of how it would look when you edit it by modifying the CSS in the browser using Mozilla or Chrome's CSS modifier tools.
You must check your work on a real phone, not an emulator, or small desktop browser window.
This needs to be completed by Tuesday 30th April.
