Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
A live has been corrupted following the
installation of a dodgy module which means i cant access the page to edit
individual products in the admin panel. I have therefore rebuilt the entire
site on a test url.
I need to transfer the test site to the live url, but also
import past customers and orders, so customers can still login and see past
orders.
My understanding is the base url needs changed in the database (which i
have done ok before), and then run a program to import the customers (i
tested with http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com). However, id rather
have a pro do it for me!
